Time for a change
My mom and I have always loved finding activities we can do together and both get enjoyment out of. When I was little we did 10,000 different creative projects that a mom and child can do together. All bad "Gilmore Girls" comparisons aside, my mom and I have always been really close and this is a way we continue to have such a great relationship.
A couple of years ago we decided to get into the selling game and joined with a company as a new team. We started out strong - having parties, selling products, making money. We were high on cookware and kitchen gadgets. Soon, we only did enough work to feed our own habits. Our stashes were amazing, but there was no money to be made like in the beginning. Times were changing. There were ten dealers for every customer out there and everyone had different product to push. To stay in the game, we purchased everything ourselves, and even at a 20% commission return, shiz was getting pricey.
Its two years later and frankly, we are in a bad way. We don't have the drive anymore. Our hearts are not in it. So we are getting out. This fall will be our last season. But never fear! We already have a new venture in mind. We have been inspired by the magical website that is referenced constantly when it comes to new recipes, household tips, and "lolz". It seems like we are always seeing items and saying, "I can make that... and better!" It will be mostly for fun, but I don't think either one of us will complain if it brings in a little bit of money, too. After all, we both have mortgages now, and I'm only a partially employed teacher at the moment. Maybe this idea won't last too long either, but we are darn excited about it right now. (Look G-pa, no swearing!)
We want to take the old, worn out, run down and renew, restore, revamp, until it is splendid once more.
Welcome to Recreated Bliss!
